Summer’s in full swing, and New York Fashion Week: Men’s is underway.

Here are our top picks from today’s Private Policy Spring/Summer 2017 Presentation, at Industria Superstudios in New York City. Inspired by real life individuals “Trapped at Sea”, this collection examines the topic of modern-day slave labor in the South Asia fishing market —hence chains to elude to being bound, harnesses for restriction and stripes to mirror the wardrobe of prisoners. Creatively representing historical events is a commendable undertaking, and something that not all that pursue do successfully. Private Policy was not only able to spread a message, but also stayed true to their design steelo, and ease of wear.
