We explored the Kingdom of Bahrain set in the Persian Gulf in just three days, discovering its beautiful souq’s, lavish hotels, exceptional malls, and breath taking beach views. Bahrain is undeniably the most liberating country of the Middle East, which draws a great deal of tourists to this beautiful destination. Manama Souq is the go-to place for finding great bargains and traditional Arabic spices, fragrances, gold, and much more. We love bargains and this city has several beautiful traditional souq’s you can easily spend hours and hours in. People in Bahrain are generally friendly, warm, and inviting, this city has a cocktail of nationalities which always is beautiful to see and experience a celebration of cultures and backgrounds, pretty much similar to cities like New York and London where there is a fusion of cultures. In our print holiday issue we had taken you through the journey of one of our most adored hotels in Bahrain, The Ritz. Since then this outstanding property has even furthered its lavish services, most recently enhancing guest experience even further by introducing a new exclusive service that picks guests up from Saudi Arabia and drives them to the hotel property with a Rolls Royce - we need a moment to digest this. Since Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are relatively close to each other, hotel guests coming from Saudi no longer need to worry about booking a flight or driving long hours to reach one of Bahrain’s hottest destination. A chauffeur picks the guest up from their home, with the latest Rolls Royce Ghost Series two, collects their bags, and delivers them to the hotel entrance - just as we thought you couldn’t get any more lavish. This unique luxury service combines luxury accommodation with transportation to and from the comfort of there own home to provide them with the most tranquil and the most mind blowing experience one could ever imagine to have on their vacation.
Although we very much so know the Ritz to be a five star hotel with rooms and suites, things in Bahrain seem to be a little different, as you have probably gathered. Private Villa’s the size of Saddle River New Jersey mansions, with your very own personal Butler, sumptuous bathrooms, your own private pool area, these Ritz Carlton villa’s are perfect for the ultimate get away experience and offers much more than your standard hotel room or suite. Boasting 23 private villa’s in total, each villa has a beautifully designed living area, three enormous bedrooms, and bathroom’s like we have never seen before. Whether your trip is for business or for pleasure, Bahrain is one of those locations that is not so familiar to us in the West - hence why we have explored and highlighted this city as one of our favourite destinations.
If your interested in a little sight seeing and museum trips Bahrain offers plenty of key spots, our favourite was the Bahrain National Museum - Bahrain’s largest and oldest public museums This museum preserves the nations heritage and history and enhances understanding and knowledge in Bahrain’s history, and of course promotes global culture within the community. The currency used in Bahrain is known as the Bahrain Dinar, however Saudi Rials can also be used, quite different to American Dollars is generally takes a few days to get used to the currency. Bahrain offers all you can need on your vacation from Art Gallery’s, Theatre’s, Museums, cultural centre’s, water parks, and more. Since modern day society thrives of new destinations and new places to explore, this is arguably one of the perfect places to vacation, out of your expected places to vacation, the Kingdom of Bahrain offers Culture, Heritage, tradition, and luxury all in one small beautiful island.
