Occupation: Film director (and every other job instrumental to making movies), but my preoccupation begins with a capital D and ends with a capital J.
What projects are you currently working on? I’m part of a film production company called Apples & Oranges, and we’re developing several features. Our first is called Bittersweet. There’s a NYC talk show called The Town Pump, and I just got cast in a web series called Quality Time. And I’m working to move my mom “out the projects, yo.”
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction? Han Solo and Indiana Jones.
The quality you most admire in a man? A man with integrity gets my respect.
The quality you most admire in a woman? A woman’s capacity to love never ceases to amaze me.
What three songs would you put on to, ahem, set the mood? Making out: James Brown’s “Try Me.” Putting out: Led Zeppelin’s “Since I’ve Been Loving You.” And passing out: Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You.”
True or false: People can change? Change is the only law of the universe.
Who would you rate the sexiest man on the planet? I would put Elvis Presley against any sexy man on the planet today — he’s got the voice, the moves, the clothes, the guns, the eccentricities and the life-ending problems, and he’s damn handsome.
Who would you rate the sexiest woman on the planet? Gimme a sec... She goes by Katie Fey or sometimes Jenya. Although I’m sure it’s neither which only adds to the mystery, but why do I dig her so much? Other than the obvious gorgeous face, amazing body and great skimpy wardrobe, I’ve endowed her with every personality trait I desire in a woman. So, yeah, she’s a fantasy.
What is your principle defect? I have yet to learn to play piano or fly a plane, but they’re on my list.
What is your motto? Cribbed from Honest Abe: “And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”
